Nitrate Klear is a safe and effective solution for reducing potentially harmful nitrate levels in your pond. High nitrate levels can lead to problems like green water and algae growth, as algae use nitrates as a food source. Nitrate Klear contains bacteria sourced from natural water environments, which mimic the natural processes in your pond or aquarium. These bacteria complement the nitrogen cycle, a vital process in all ponds, by breaking down ammonia released from fish waste. As the ammonia decomposes, it turns into nitrites and then nitrates, which are then targeted and broken down by the bacteria, gradually reducing nitrate levels and improving water quality.

Nitrate Klear can be used as a one-time treatment to lower nitrate levels or as an ongoing solution to maintain low nitrate levels and promote a healthy pond environment.

Check pH of the pond water and, if required, use Pond Equaliser
Turn off UV light for the first 1-2 days during treatment
Use 1 tablet per 2,000 litres of pond water
Add to a bucket of pond water and leave to stand for 2 hours
Stir and distribute evenly into the pond
Repeat every 7 days if nitrate levels are high
