Containing ingredients readily found in nature, Envii products aren’t only friendly for the planet, they work with it rather than against it. Because of this, we’ve grown to realise that packaging matters just as much as product in our efforts to provide greener choices.
So, while our products have always been environmentally conscious, we admit our packaging hasn’t. Which is why we’re making an extra effort in striving to reduce the effect on the environment and making better decisions about how we deliver our products to customers.

So, while our products have always been environmentally conscious, we admit our packaging hasn’t. Which is why we’re making an extra effort in striving to reduce the effect on the environment and making better decisions about how we deliver our products to customers.
Our postage materials…
Since 2018, we have saved over 9,000kg of single-use plastic going to landfills. That’s equivalent to 317,000 cherry tomatoes or 214 of the heaviest koi carp!
Our Approach
Our approach in contributing to a sustainable planet is the use of recyclable and compostable materials in our packaging.
Composting and recycling are two eco-friendly methods for handling waste materials that help the planet by reducing the use of energy, resources and reducing waste products in landfills.
Recycling deals with waste materials by transforming or re-purposing items to be used for the second time or even multiple times. While composting is a decomposition process that converts organic waste into nutrients which can be used to improve soil and promote plant growth, supporting the eco-system of nature.
Small Packets, Big Possibilities
It is important as a brand that we do everything we can to be aware of our environmental impact. Often, garden, pond and household products are supplied in big, bulky, packaging. But size isn’t everything, and here at Envii, we believe small packets can lead to big possibilities.
We’ve been working hard behind the scenes to create solutions that are highly concentrated and high performing. By doing this we are able to provide easy to store solutions that use a minimal amount of packaging. Our packets use up to 96% less packagingcompared to bottles and tubs.
To put this into perspective, you would need 3 bags of a comparable soil conditioner to cover the same area as Activearth. Across only our organic gardening range, (which accounts for 23% of our product range) we will save over6 tonnes of packagingcompared to comparable bottled products this year.
That is the equivalent in weight to three rhinos, nine cows or around 430,000 cherry tomatoes!
Our latest changes…
In 2019, we introduced 100% recycled plastic packaging for our trigger spray bottles, using 40,000 bottles and saving 1,800kg of single use plastics from going to landfill. Since 2019, we have used 100,000 bottles which has saved 4,500kg of single use plastics from going to landfill.
The bottles are made from a hundred per cent recycled plastics and can be recycled once disposed of. To make 1kg of new plastic it takes 1.75 litres of oil, whereas recycling uses nothing. This results in a huge carbon saving of 65 per cent.
In an ideal world, we would be plastic free.
However, the nature of our liquid products means recycled plastic is our only option and we encourage all our customers to recycle our plastic bottles.
