Yes. When used correctly, Algae Klear Xtra poses no danger to any fish, wildlife or plants. It is important that you check your water parameters before using Algae Klear and stabilise if necessary.
Algae Klear Xtra typically works within two weeks to completely kill off algae within ponds. If after two weeks there are still some remnants of algae, a repeat treatment can be applied.
Whilst this can be used all year round, it is most effective when water temperatures are above 4°C.
The UV light does not need to be turned off when using this.

"Followed the instructions precisely over the recommended three week period including checking PH levels etc. Though the blanket weed strands seemed to become thinner initially, the spread did not reduce and overall I would rate this product as having no improvement at all to the level of blanket weed in my pond."
"Pumped out my pond filter and then added Algae Klear Xtra and also Pond Clear weekly for the last 5 weeks. There is some improvement to the algae but it has not worked as well as I hoped it might. The stones are still covered, which is a bit disappointing, but the plants are not as covered with green strands as they used to be, which is a good result. The water has been very clear throughout.
