Winter Pond Treatment is a unique solution designed to keep your pond clean and healthy during the colder months. Often overlooked in winter, ponds accumulate organic waste that can lead to algae blooms, blanket weed, and green water as the warmer weather returns. This specialized treatment uses beneficial bacteria that work efficiently even in temperatures as low as 4°C, breaking down organic waste and preventing it from causing problems come spring.

Thanks to the high concentration of beneficial bacteria, Winter Pond Treatment is specifically formulated to work longer in colder conditions, ensuring your pond remains clean throughout winter. For best results, it’s recommended for use between November and February, with regular treatments of Pond Klear or Pond Klear Xtra throughout spring, summer, and autumn to maintain a healthy pond year-round.

Clean filters before use
Check the pH of the pond water and use Pond Equaliser if required
Dissolve 1 tablet per 5,000 litres of water in a bucket of pond water and leave for 2 hours
Distribute evenly throughout the pond
For ponds without filters, use 2 tablets per 5,000 litres of water
Re-apply every 14 days
